- 2026 kids' night Thursday, July 9.
- FREE ADMISSION FOR ALL
- LOTS OF OTHER ACTIVITIES BESIDES MUTTON BUSTING.
- Mutton busting sign in starts at 6:00 pm. Riding will start at 6:30.
- Mutton busting for kids who weigh 60 pounds or less. RIDERS MUST wear long sleeved shirt, long pants and closed toe shoes. Protective helmets and vests will be provided although we can not guarantee a custom fit. You can bring your own if you have them.
- $5.00 charge for each mutton buster
- Riders will be judged and top 30 riders invited to return to ride in Friday or Saturday night performances
- Waiver form MUST be signed by parent or guardian.

Contestant directions to rodeo grounds: From Lincoln Way, go west on 3rd St. directly into the rodeo grounds.
Contestants stop by the hospitality tent and remember to get your ticket for a free meal when you check in.

Miss Hadley Thomas is our 2026 rodeo queen. She will appear at the Woodbine rodeo and as a guest queen at other area rodeos. She will also ride in local parades.

Loess Hills Heatwave
The Loess Hills Heatwave equestrian drill team will be performing both Friday and Saturday nights of the rodeo. This is a very talented group of local young women that are sure to please the crowd with their routines!

Come on up to the Cook Shack located in the building to get your food and drinks!
We have hamburgers, hot dogs, and pulled pork sandwiches. Our pulled pork nachos are famous!! Try our beef nachos, walking tacos and nachos. If you just want a snack, we have popcorn, chips, popsicles, root beer floats and candy. You can quench your thirst with pop, tea, Gatorade and water so step right up!!

Rodeo Time is coming again in in 2026 and that means we need your help! Kids night is July 9th, and Rodeo the 10th and 11th. We are looking for 10-12 volunteers for the nights of the Rodeo performances to assist with preparing food in the kitchen and assisting in taking money. We always have a great time, and our Vice Presidents try to make it as painless as possible. Remember it's the only place to experience air conditioning at the rodeo! If you are interested in helping one or both nights please contact Jeanna Baxter or Kendra Walker via messenger or you can also contact Woodbine Saddle Club on our Facebook page. Hannah & Steve Thomas
Stick around after the rodeo performance on Saturday night to enjoy live music by Hannah and Steve Thomas. They are an acoustic duo playing a variety of genres. Steve plays classic country music while Hannah plays classic rock songs and newer country, creating a fun experience for everyone!
They will be singing and playing in the beer garden for three hours after the rodeo performance ends.
Antique fire truck rides
We want to thank the Logan, Iowa Fire Department for bringing their antique 1935 Ford fire truck to kids night. As you can see, kids of all ages enjoyed the rides.
